Joey has been in ministry for 19 years - 12 of those years were spent in Young Life where he fell in love with  the idea of living in incarnational communities.  His apostolic gifting has helped him start several start-up ministries through the years, as well as, help in the planting of four churches.  Currently, he is a pastor at Christ Chapel Bible Church in the Cultural District of Fort Worth, Texas.  

Joey's passion is two-fold.  He desires to help believers see that the gospel is not just a starting point or just a "ticket" into heaven, but it's the whole process of our Christian lives, along with the fuel behind being sent.  He also desires to help churches see the value in being sent out into the world together in community, along with helping sojourners see a tangible expression of the gospel.
